Poured in place Rubber

Poured in place rubber uses 2 distinct layers of rubber To create the extremely shock-absorbent and Long-lasting Surface. The First (Bottom) layer is the shock absorbent base, made up of recycled rubber, this the thickest layer as it is designed to absorb most of the impact of a fall. The second (Top) layer also known as the “Wear Layer” consists of TPV granules that can be colored and styled to match the aesthetic of any playground. Poured in place TPV granules are mixed on site and come together to create a soft and seamless surface that most importantly, withstands heavy foot traffic and is capable of retaining its color for up to 8 years.

Permeability of poured in place rubber

Poured in place Playground Surfaces are made up of rubber granules that create a smooth but permeable and porous surface, meaning that Rain water can easily pass through the surface. This helps runoff and creates a non-slip surface that is safe to be used right after rainfall.
